Pos-T-vac

This is disgusting, and not for the reason some might think. The disgusting part is the fact that it's covered by Medicare Part B!!!

This is something that every woman out there should make a point of this in any conversation about women's rights. This kind of product, covered by Medicare, epitomizes the difference between the men and the women in the country.

Why is such a--device--covered for late middle-aged or seniors men, and women are in fear of losing their reproductive rights in this day and age? Why don't women have some kind of "help" for their sexual health, not that we want help?

I'm not totally faking outrage here, though I have some sense of it. I know since the War on Women went national, we've brought up many topics focussing on contraception, and why should men still be able to get viagra and other stuff, but the fact that this device is paid for by Medicare pisses me off completely!

Devices like this and the little pills are to medically restore a "normal" function (now lost to disease/accident/age), while contraceptives are to prevent a "normal" medical possibility (pregnancy & birth).

and of course most legislators/medical professionals/insurance executives/corporate CEOs of companies that make these things are male, so restoration of their (or potentially their) performance is of vital importance.

I'd be happy to make sure the men get their Pos-T-Vac. Men are far more neurotic than women care/can be. A lot of men over 60 are prone to heart disease, and many shouldn't be having sex anyway. (hyperbole intended.)

to disease/accident/age? Accident I could perhaps agree with but not disease or age. Disease is a "normal" medical possibility and age is a natural progression.

And that IS normal. Men should accept their limitations at some point in time. What--do they expect to be able to have sex when they're 90 and on their death bed?

I remember when I was a teenage and I used to write fan stories, and had one character die from a heart attack during sex. Even then, it seemed so silly to think that someone would keel over and die just to get some jollies when they shouldn't have been thinking of sex at all. (A pitcher of cold water used at a crucial time can do wonders to cooling someone off!)

must be like who approved the Pos-T-vac coverage for Medicare, while at the same time disapproving of devices such as the Sybian to be covered for women? I mean, do you think that they might have just a little difficulty sleeping at night? Or how about looking at their faces in the mirror every morning when they arise? Yes, Karma is a heavy john. http://sybian.com/index.html?set=yes

These things are sex toys!
Flippen expensive sex toys.
And medicare pays for this stuff?
No wonder those old codger teabagers want to end medicare for any one but themselves.
WHO Who... This gonna be covered by the Paul Ryan coupon.

Now that my outrage inspired gallows humor has boiled off a bit here.....

And theirs all this controversy about birth control pills.
Go ahead Mittens, tell me theirs not a war on women.
