U.S calls them “Khorasan” but document shows Khorasan is in fact “Wolf Unit"

* Wolf Unit sounds kind of tacky, no wonder they changed the name

Jenaan Moussa reporting from Syria

The bombing of the so called Khorasan-group in Syria is a mystery to the world. The only thing we know is the location and that at least two main al Qaeda operatives, Top sniper Abu Yousef Al Turki and Abu Hajar Al Masri, were killed.

But now Al Aan TV has received exclusive access to the bombed out headquarters of Khorasan group in Reef Al Muhandeseen Aleppo.

---

And most interestingly, in the rubble of Reef AlMuhandeseen we found a list with 14 names on it.

According to the document, 13 of the fourteen men on the list are members of the “Wolf Unit, Jabhat al Nusra”.

According to the document, the Wolf Unit was lead by Abu Yusuf al Turki, the famous Jabhat al Nusra sniper who was killed in the American airstrikes on the compound in Reef Al Muhandaseen.

Judging by the names on the list, Four of the fourteen are Turks, two Egyptians, two Yemeni, two Tunisians, one Palestinian, one Serbian, one from the Caucasus.

Sources say that all of the thirteen members of the Wolf unit lived in the compound in Reef Al Muhandeseen which was hit by US airstrikes. Just like their leader, some of the men in the list might have been killed during the air strikes.

Based on the pictures and documents we can conclude the following: What the Americans call Khorasan, is in fact the Wolf Unit and other groups of foreign fighters within Jabhat al Nusra.

from your link..

"Most of them are non Syrian al Qaeda members who have a history in Pakistan and Afghanistan and are now present inside Syria under the banner of Jabhat Al Nusra

According to a source, a total of three buildings were targeted in Reef AlMuhandeseen . Two villas and one training camp. Seven other Jabhat Al Nusra villas in the area were not bombed. A total of 50 members of Jabhat al Nusra died in the air raids, 200 escaped alive."

Like Bernie Sanders said.. "this is an extremely complicated issue"..

b]Bernie stands with the President on this "Enormously complicated issue".. as he calls it. He disagrees with staying out of ISIS like some around are clamoring on about.

As he stated it's an "International effort" and guess what.. "they have to put money in it too."

Senator Sanders also said Assad Gassed his own people.. whether the conspiracy theorists around here believe it or not..

Hartman and he talked about one republiCon saying.. they'll "blast him if it doesn't work and ask why he didn't do it sooner if it does." Sounds like a familiar whine.

doesn't it? If it's correct, that is. If you are agreeing with the link in the OP - that 'Khorasan' was actually a group of al Nusra fighters, such as a sniper, fighting in Syria (against Assad, ISIL, and others), then they were nothing to do with a group plotting an imminent bomb attack (via mobile phone batteries or toothpaste tubes, it's been claimed).

Of course, al Nusra were fighting against ISIL; now that the USA is bombing both of them, they are making up: http://www.democraticunderground.com/1014905640

Mind you, the killing of Abu Hajar Al Masri was claimed by the Syrian army on Sept 11th:

An army unit destroyed a 21 m long tunnel in al Orfi neighborhood in the city of Deir Ezzor which the terrorists were using for transporting weapons and ammunition, a source in the northeastern province told SANA said.

SANA reporter quoted the source as saying that all the terrorists who were inside the tunnel were killed.

Meanwhile, another army unit killed numbers of terrorists affiliated to the terrorist organization of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in the neighborhoods of al-Hweika and al-Rashidiyeh in the city.

Terrorist Abu Hajar al-Masri from Egypt was identified among the dead, according to the source.
