NEW clause in my union contract (UPDATED x 2)

Upon passage by the membership (the vote is next week and could go either way) and approved by the city council (a formality) civilian employees can NO LONGER BE DISCRIMINATED AGAINST FOR SEXUAL ORIENTATION!!!. Back dated to Jan 1, 2013!

UPDATE: I was in such a hurry to post. We will be voting on a complete contract for Jan 1, 2013 to Jan 1, 2017. It will not be for just 1 item. I can't go into any other details until the info is made public down the road.
