The President is endangering is legacy by blaming the intel community for ISIL

It seems he said that he did not get good intel about ISIL from James Clapper.

The Deep State does not like being made a scapegoat. Under Bush II, he essentially bkamed the intel community for the lack of Iraqi WMDs. He lost their trust and then the Plame thing happened. Joseph Wilson would never have gone public without permission, permission he easily got because Bush screwed over the CIA etc.

The Deep State is there and is not going anywhere. The President better make nice with them or they will make his last two years agony.
