Was this on facebook? I am not too surprised if this is his work, but would like to be sure before I share this. Thanks.

I doubt Rove wrote it, and it looks at best to be advice for people operating their own blogs. Trolls on this site rarely make the demands the piece alleges instead just charging through and demonstrating the insightful intellect of a petulant twelve-year-old.

Take the first one about demanding an elaborate time-consuming comparison/analysis between your position and theirs. I've never run into that. And when was the last time somebody dismissed a quote from a source and insisted you put the post in your own words? That's just unlikely.

If this is some sort of manifesto, it looks like the conservative bloggers never received the memo.

Conservatives DO NOT CARE what the facts are, they believe what they want to believe DESPITE the facts. The are immune to facts.

A DUer has posted a few times an article stating that the purpose of such posters is to disrupt genuine discussion. Some people may not realize they are doing that; others seem hell bent on it.

while also preventing the presentation of liberal viewpoints?

And, of course, he clearly means all Democrats, not only liberals. Just using another opportunity to imply that all Democrats are liberals. (I wish, but that is clearly not the case.)

Good ole Rove, still alternating between lying and making no sense at all.

He and Atwater and their dirty tricks GOP are as nauseating as ever.

ETA: Per Reply 11, Rove may or may not have been the source of the instructions. Either way, he's nauseating.

I don't mean to be ungrateful for your suggestion, but, even when I am channel surfing, I pump my remote faster as I never the FOX News channel. Sometimes, I even reflexively close my eyes, silly as that sounds.

What I see of FOX (and Limbaugh and that lot) is bits that other shows, like Daily Show, Colbert, etc. choose to re-broadcast. That usually seems sufficient for me.

I would love to find the source for the daily conservative talking points.

Anybody know where they come from and how to get them delivered?
