Koch Brothers: Proud Sponsors of the Morning Joe program

Scarborough is bending over backwards in all too obvious ways defending them again, way beyond the usual 'both sides do it' crap and listing their myriad selfless contributions to the arts and humanitarian efforts.

Mika says 'yup.' The rest of the panel looks uncomfortable, like they're watching a shoplifter and not sure what to do.

Nice starting my day off with a good laugh.

1. OMG! I threw up in my mouth watching their homage to the Kochs!

Scarborough and Brzezinski excused their friends the Kochs brothers because they were just good old lovable Libertarians who supported the arts and weren't entirely negative on social issues. Like everything else they do to trash the environment, squash pro-labor issues, muck up education and everything else they are trying to destroy is meaningless in comparison to a posh Manhattan gallery premier.

Are rich and seem to have their hands in everthing. My question is where are our ultra rich Democratic supporters? Oh we have them for sure. We used to be able to count on Soros to go toe to toe with Republicans. Is it only during Presidential elections that our rich supporters assist us?

12. I'm too cynical to give all our guys a pass but it does seem to be a distinctly different MO.

Just for starters, while I'm sure favors are asked and granted all the time, deep pocket Democrats aren't running shadowy organizations ala ALEC to get laws passed across the country to benefit themselves and screw working people. The very worst of our rich guys are probably more overt like Sheldon Adelson than the Kochs.

like a kind of parody that you might see on "Saturday Night Live"? It shows multiple shots of products under their corporate umbrella, and talks about how many people they supposedly employ throughout the country. I think it actually saw it run once on MSNBC, if you can believe it, and have not seen it since.

I'm hoping it blew up in their face, and the Koch switchboard got innundated with angry phone calls!

4. I'm pretty sure it's run frequently on MSNBC, including Morning Joe.

That's what's so outrageous. Joe and Mika are literally shilling for a sponsor and never adding a disclosure statement. That of course is part of the Koch's insidious SOP-- predating any of the Citizens United, McCutcheon, etc rulings-- never be upfront about the money connection.

I used to watch it but I couldn't stand his badgering and her passivity the rest of the people that were there except for maybe Thomas Roberts are a joke. So I quit and I've rarely watched it again

...and they seemed to have endless ads talking up just how wonderful Koch Industries was, and the vast numbers of jobs they created...I damned near switched the telly off, but the Euro's were kicking the Yank's arses so I kept it on and just muted the commercials ....(there were also a plethora of 'Ain't BP Grand!' commercials as well....

Made me want to puke watching it. These cretins are trying to destroy democracy in America and the stupid idiots are being fooled into voting for their own destruction.

It was disgusting to watch - nobody had the balls to say anything, they all just set there and agreed with Joe. The Koch Industries commercial ran right after Joe's praising words for the Koch brothers.
MSNBC - all bought and paid for by the Koch brothers.
