2. Choudary is a real piece of work.

He uses freedoms in the UK to spread his own special brand of hate.

He sucks off the state.... he doesn't work.

HE gets UK welfare.

He instigates religious tensions.

He wants the UK to go under sharia law.

Why the UK puts up with him and his ilk are mindboggling.

Choudary provides inspiration for both, so he serves a useful purpose.

What would conservatives talk about if they had nothing to be afraid of?

4. This is why this war will take so long and is so ill advised.

IS is more like the Taliban than al Qaeda. They are a quasi-government organization. They are also brutal and militant jihadist seeking expansion. That makes them more dangerous than the Taliban. Regardless, this is not an AQ like operation hiding in the mountains. This is a government body that has taken and held a large expanse if land. And they provide government services to the people living there.

This is why an air war will not defeat them. This is why civilians will die. This is why a generation will be radicalized to hate the US. For the people which IS serves and provides, IS has given stability and security when the Syrian government no longer could and no other rebel group could. And now the US is coming in and bombing them into desolation again.
