https://twitter.com/anjemchoudary/status/512796215369408512He didn't get the memo? Doesn't he know that 99.9999% of Muslims don't want global Shari'ah? They just want to be left alone. If the western world gets out and stays out of the Middle East, they will be perfectly content.
I think he should lodge a complaint about his Twitter being hacked.

He sends out the memos from his comfortable abode in London.
I think he's "protected opposition", there to stir things up.

(114,904 posts)It's utter bullshit and he sounds like a fool, but he's saying that Islam will rule the world.
Does it scare you?
I'm more curious about what you're trying to say. The way I interpret your paragraph that begins with "He didn't get the memo?" is that you believe it's not true that the vast majority of Muslims (be that 95% or 99.whatever% don't want global Sharia.

I think they told him to stop recruiting for Isis but he still has twitter for his missives.

When extremist Christian groups in Kansas or Wyoming or wherever start beheading agnostics and Unitarians, and selling women into sexual slavery, I will support whatever is necessary to stop them as well.

(101,322 posts)Yes, everyone knows he's an extremist. He lives for publicity. He is the British Muslim equivalent of the Phelps' clan.
If you want to talk about Muslims in general, look for some polls about their feelings. Or talk about some countries that are majority Muslim. There's plenty of nasty stuff for you to point out there. You are wasting your time if you think you're pointing out Choudary spouts repellent views. He and his followers (26?) are the extreme 27 in the 2.7 million Muslims in England and Wales. So, you should have written '99.999%'. They are 1 in 100,000.

(101,322 posts)British Muslims do not follow Choudary. He is a self-publicist. He organises protests to which the same 10 people turn up time after time, outnumbered by the photographers. Pointing at what he tweets is a waste of time.

(101,322 posts)I said it was a waste of time talking about what Choudary tweets. I suggested "look for some polls about their feelings ... There's plenty of nasty stuff for you to point out there". You seem to think that, since you looked for some polls, you have somehow shown me wrong, and that I was 'making data up'.
