You can bet the GOP will not accept any US AG unless it is someone THEY nominate. And it may be that they will be ok with no AG until 2017. If they do it will be some kind of major extortion. What could that be? Obama resign, repeal ACA, privatize Social Security and or Medicare, etc etc?

I honestly bet cruz and his crazy cronies honestly believe that there won't be any AG for two years.

Filibusters are dead for such nominations. 51 votes confirms any nominee for AG and regardless of what happens in November, Reid remains the majority leader until at least January 3.
