How many?

Ok it's time for a little perspective.

Night before last I worked a show(I am a roadie). We sold about 24,000 tickets.

I started to think about ISIS. I looked up their numbers. Hey what do you know, between 20,000 and 30,000.

So I looked out over the crowd, about the size of ISIS's entire army.

This is what we are fucking freaking out about? Seriously?

I have some more questions about ISIS numbers.

How many tanks does ISIS have?
How many Fighter Jets?
How many tactical nukes?
How many sonic weapons?
Rail Guns?
How much surveillance equipment do they have?
How many satellites?
How big is their intelligence budget?
How many Black Ops groups do they have?
How high is their CIA?
Their FBI?
Their Pentagon?

Are you fucking kidding me with this ISIS shit?

Maybe it's time we figure out why and stop worrying about who

Terrorism is a weed. Cut it down and it will grow bigger. Remove it at the root and it will never come back.

......brave?

And do not forget all the suspiciously similar brown people around you every day that could just blow themselves up as you stand in at the Starbucks line waiting for your double latte...scary stuff, not propagandized xenophobia generated by a mass media that profits off fear and worshipping the MIT, it is not that.

by backing al Maliki while he was systematically purging the government of all Sunni Muslims. We also contributed in the early days of the Iraq Occupation by throwing all Baath party members out of the military, a truly goofy move only a dogmatist could make.

I still think tracing their money trail would be a lot more productive than bombing them. The latter will only bring them more recruits.

and if the Obama administration came to me and said "we are sending troops, not to attack, but to protect the Sunni villages, I would have a hard time saying no.

Beyond that though, beyond protecting people who ask for help I'm really not to worried about ISIS.

Yeah we have our share of those literalists too, however other countries are not bombing us because of them. Maybe if we stop killing people and start feeding them, the Muslims will start to take care of their own wacko's kind of like we do here.

Certainly enough to finance terrorist acts globally for decades already, if they decided to get into that business. We should be glad they're so laser focused on making life suck in their own neighbourhood for now.

And if we can't then I would propose that there is a problem with our system.

My question for those supporting a "war against ISIL" is...

What do we bomb? Do they have a capital building, an infrastructure, a main camp, a motor pool, an armory? How many troops are in their ranks? Are we just supposed to send in some Rangers to laser paint some random targets for aerial bombardment?

They really haven't bothered with Americans - yet - except for a couple who had the misfortune to travel in their part of the world.

You are right. You can kill the craziest of the crazies but the problem will return unless you treat the cause. Treating the symptoms of a disease over and over again is a terrible tactic. Dealing with the cause of the disease, while treating the symptoms if necessary, is a much better policy.

is being terrorized by the Corporate Media every day by something that was created by NATO's illegal invasion of Iraq in the first place.

Remember, you have to tell yourself, 'ISIS is WORSE than Hitler'! Because if you don't, all that war money will not get into the hands of all those Private Contractors. What a terrifying thought, it might get spent on the American people!! NO!!!
