Rush Limbaugh’s Black Sidekick, James 'Mr. Snerdley' Golden: Segregation Was The ‘Good Old Days’

James Golden, who is better known as Rush Limbaugh’s sidekick “Snerdley,” asserted over the weekend that the quality of life for African-Americans has been going downhill ever since the end of Jim Crow. In an interview with The Daily Caller’s Ginni Thomas that was published on Sunday, Golden expresses views on American culture that are similar to what listeners might hear on Limbaugh’s radio program.

“Isn’t a shame that the good old days were the days when things were segregated legally in this country?” he opines. “The good old days, when two-parent families were the norm in the black community — and they were — two parent families were the norm back during segregation days.”

Golden charges that “liberalism” has done “horrific” things to the black community, like allowing doctors who break abortion laws. And he said that the current “pinnacle of black music” is “misogynistic, violent, gangster rappers who are so illiterate that they can’t put five sentences together to make a paragraph.”

“How did the people who were leading the world’s art form in music degenerate into this depravity that calls itself the music industry right now in terms of black culture?” he asks. “How did we get where we’ve got some girl humping her booty up and down, and that’s considered the state of black art? It’s disgraceful in this country.” “And what took us there? People following this liberal ride down all the way.”

I've been sitting here trying to come up with something. I got nothing.
It is a sickness, being a conservative.

and in the present.
A lot was happening that was very negetive even though there were two parent families and there are very positive things in present Black music trends.

I always figured him to be an imaginary pink elephant inside Rush's Oxycotin-riddled head that he enjoyed talking to.

Who knew?

The covers that white singers did of R&B songs were so sanitized you wouldn't have recognized the original lyrics as being from the same song. And, if someone had performed the original lyrics to a lot of R&B hits that were on "pop" radio back in the 50's they likely would have been arrested under some "decency" law.

Just as an example, there's a variation on "Stagger Lee" where Stagger threatens to sodomize several characters (Billy included) in the song while referring to himself as a "bad motherfu*ker" in the lyrics. Not that different from the rap music Snerdly is having a spell of the vapors about.

I love it when people that don't have a clue about art or history complain about the coarseness of today's culture.

He doesn't even know anything about the people, putting out the music ... some of the biggest names in Hip Hop possess graduate degrees and/or graduated grad with honors.

So, if this guy is actually black he's either a paid shill or has some serious self-loathing and a touch of black-on-black racism.
OK, went to the link and they have a photo of a black man. I'm thinking shill. First, this guy isn't old enough to have experienced the racism during the swan-song of segregation: the '50s and early '60s. and, it seems obvious to me from the photograph that this man is in costume, dressed to look like the black "Joe-the-Plumber."

OK, sad that he makes his living this way, but if we're honest and subjective about Rush's impact we have to admit that, for all his noise, he's reaching a very limited audience that is already consumed by racism and hate. Playing Lord Heehaw to Rush's Goebbels is going to change zero peoples' minds about segregation.

If you'll allow a momentary drift into scatological metaphor (the genre most suitable for discussion of Limbaugh), Rush is as effective as a fart in a hurricane.

Besides, it's common knowledge on the internet that Rush Limbaugh is an oxycotin-addicted pedophile and sexual-tourist.

Slaves didn't have to pay any rent. They got fresh food grown right on the premises. The slaves got to work everyday in the beautiful outdoors. There was none of this evil hip-hop music. There were no liberals anywhere around to mess up this Eden.

Everybody knows the slaves were happy except for the usual few malcontents.

What great days those were to be of African heritage in America!!!!
