Oh, and the PALIN spawn have "work ethic and heart for those less fortunate" -- uh, they've *worked* at self-promotion and their physical POUNDING on others shows all that *heart*!1 That's what taking personal responsibility is all about!1

Sarah Palin breaks silence on family feud, expresses pride in daughter Bristol
Mama Grizzly is defending her cubs.
Sarah Palin has broken her silence over the family feud two weeks ago, saying shes proud of her daughter for allegedly punching a man in the face during the Rumble in the Tundra.
I love Bristol, the former Republican vice presidential candidate posted to Facebook. My straight-shooter is one of the strongest young women youll ever meet.
I have to say this as a proud mama: right up there with their work ethic and heart for those less fortunate, my kids defense of family makes my heart soar. ....
No news reporters were present, but Sarah Palin still blamed the media.
As you can imagine, they and my extended family have experienced so many things (liberal media-driven) that may have crushed others without a strong foundation of faith, and I'm thankful for our friends prayer shield that surrounds them, allowing faith to remain their anchor, she wrote on Facebook.

When I think of my children being strong, it is not about how they can punch someone.

(70,711 posts)"Reliable Sources" STELTER sez the PALINS deserve the benefit of the doubt over brawl
Just when we thought Reliable Sources had gone upscale from Mistah KURTZ, this would be the STELTER who used his venue to do a TWO PART feature on BecKKK -- well, Part the First was a half hour or more and the Second was only a five minutes probably for the flack he might have caught from webheads -- and his gushing went to the agog level because, well, NINETY MILLIONS is what agog is about!1
So this morning he did a 3-5 minutes on the *question* don't the PALINs deserve "the benefit of the doubt" over their brawl. He critiqued the coverage, how they JUMPED on it, how one or the other used "reports" meaning no independent sources, blah blah. He did mention at least twice that the PALINs have not commented at all on the brawl, that Mc5planes' chosen mate did post on her FB the next day but without mentioning the brawl, and that CNN has made multiple attempts to get a response from her/them without success.
I submit to Mistah Kurtz STELTER that the PALINs are nothing if not inveterate lip flappers, such that a SILENCE like theirs here speaks volumes to the effect that the REPORTS are not in dispute at all. The answer to your question is: Uh, no, the PALINs do not deserve the benefit of the doubt. Btw, WHAT "doubt"?!1

Just desserts of his own making.

(70,711 posts)Plus, she said (paraphrasing rather closely), "Having worked for Sarah PALIN in the campaign, I get PTSD when I hear she's 'breaking her silence' . "
Plus, she walked through a summary of the brawl, all details exactly as what we've heard.
Bwah-ha-HAH!1 A semi-honest Rethug (WALLACE, not Grifter)!1

(34,845 posts)I think Bristol would have preferred a real anchor to bash people's faces in.

(5,842 posts)The oldest son had the choice of go to jail or serve in the military. Haven't heard of anything he's done since getting out of the service other than having a shotgun marriage to his girlfriend of the time and getting divorced less than a year later.
As far as Bristol, were it not for her family she'd be a single mother (likely on public assistance) struggling to make ends meet in a minimum wage service job.
I don't know what the younger high-school/post HS age children are doing nowadays but it's obviously nothing that involves hard work.
