What about around Taos, NM? (And can I answer my own question by going to somewhere like 'weather.com'?)

predicting what a dying hurricane is likely to do.

I suspect central NM, taking the drenching now (think Soccorro) will be OK tonight as that particular shower band continues to inch north. It's already within an hour or two from Albuquerque, maybe 3+ hours more to get to Taos.

There looks to be a fairly hefty thunderstorm just southwest of Taos. That's not part of Odile, it just popped up because it's so damned humid out there. I just went to the market and now I'm drenched in sweat. Not pretty.

I should mention that I look at the NWS data more than other weather sites. They have all the satellite images as well as doppler radar there.

It was 98° an hour ago. It's dropped considerably since. But only a few giant drops of rain so far. South Orange County.
