I wonder if gene cluster analysis won't yield better understanding of a great many medical conditions.

Positive symptoms (things added onto experience) like hallucinations are massively different than negative symptoms (subtractions from experience) like missing emotions even up to death like catatonia.

Further rammed home by the fact positive symptoms respond well to anti-psychotics, whereas negative symptoms rarely do.
