Over the last couple of days I have been heartened to see DU's response to Child Spanking, etc.

I see several threads touching on the subject and I must say that 99.9 percent of DUer's are opposed to any form of physical punishment for a child. I think it's such a hard thing to defend that some have either changed their minds about it or are keeping quiet.

We've had many of these types of threads over the last decade at DU and I see a huge change in attitudes since then.
