Calfornia heat wave power outages (Southern California Edison)

Southern California Edison's Power Outage map.

Eeeek! Long link: I hope it works.
It's a map of the current outages for SCE. Pretty extensive. And it looks like most fixes are going to take at least a day. This was worst last night, though.

I tried to look at the L.A. DWP's map, but the page is down.

Hope I can make it through with no outage, I work from home. DWP just upgraded our transformer /equipment last month, so that's something. I'm ready to leave for the library if it does go out.

Big industries, and the like, that get cutoff.

Take the rest of the day off, big users, or.... stay at work and start planning how to get solar on your buildings.

...and this one is even HOTTER: :O ---I think I may leave town for up north for awhile.

IF CURRENT MODEL TRENDS HOLD THE HEAT WAVE COMING FOR THE SECOND HALF
OF NEXT WEEK WOULD EASILY EQUAL THE INTENSITY OF THE CURRENT ONE AND
VERY LIKELY EXCEED IT AS THE GFS SHOWS A SLIGHTLY STRONGER OFFSHORE
COMPONENT COUPLED WITH A STRONGER RIDGE ALOFT AND 950 TEMPS AROUND
37C WHICH IS A FEW DEGREES WARMER THAN WHAT WE`RE SEEING NOW. SO
ENJOY THE COOLER WEATHER COMING THE NEXT 5 OR 6 DAYS BECAUSE NEXT
WEEK COULD BE EVEN WARMER THAN THE LAST FEW DAYS HAVE BEEN.

I'm not ready for winter yet, and it's already getting close to freezing at night here in Minnesota

I'll send it your way, but it will most likely dip south.
I don't care which way it goes, we haven't had a cool night's sleep in over a month—and I live 5 miles from the ocean :O
