Want money out of politics, first get the silent filibuster out of politics..
The silent filibuster is anti-democracy.
It's been abused by Repubs to diminish President Obama's presidency.
It's made Sen Reid far less effective as SML.
UNTIL
Harry went nuclear.
When Harry invoked the so-called nuclear option for seating judges, judges got seated.
To Sen Reid,
Bring back the talking filibuster for ANY/ALL legislation.
Why?
Because YOU will be far more effective as SML.
And YOU will be making a move that will do more for our democracy than almost any other action could.
