How women cyclists are drawing attention to their sport in Colombia. Bound to be controversial,

but this is current and political.

This is what their uniforms look from a distance, intentionally designed to make them look nekkid.

Women’s Cycling Team’s “Naked” Outfits Spark Controversy

A Colombian cycling team is generating controversy with riding outfits meant to make the cyclists look naked.

The women of the IDRD-Bogatá Humana-San Mateo-Solgar squad turned heads at a recent race in Italy by showing up in the provocative uniforms that don’t actually show anything — but use a flesh-colored midsection to give the appearance of showing nudity.

One of the team members, Angie Tatiana Rojas Suarez, reportedly designed the creative outfit.

But not everyone is so happy about it.

Thanks in advance.

I don't see the problem, maybe the problem is in the mind of the people who are offended.

especially women's cyling; but I doubt if this is the best way to do it. How about holding fund raising events, do television ads, go on talk shows and such? (On the side: I'm hoping to be able to save up for a Specialize Tarmac in a couple of years. It's should be a very nice ride).
