When the corporate media is interviewing candidate X,

particularly this early in the game and bring up candidate Y instead of discussing candidate X, the issues and/or candidate X's stance on the issues, they're selling the American People down the river.

It's nothing but subliminal brainwashing, in trying to establish a preset frame.

The two most recent examples of using this tactic would be Todd and Schultz.

After a while many people were sucked into believing Saddam was behind 9/11 despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

In the case of campaigning one can't think of candidate X, A B C etc. etc. running for President without thinking that candidate Y is the shoe in favorite.

So the corporate media tries to create a self-fulfilling prophecy nomination from that particular political party.
