What with activity on deck, water being pumped, and it docked (beached?) at a peculiar angle, it looks like it's coming or going somewhere.

It docks on Evansville In. But each year it travels by river to different cities for people to tour.

a neighbor we had while I as young that I learned he landd on the beach on D-Day. There was not the relationship where a conversation would have happened where this fact would have come up.

I did have a two hour conversation with a man who was in the Battle of the Bulge. I told his son about that conversation at the vet's funeral. I was embarrassed to learn that the son never had that conversation with his father.
