They couldn't make it easier! They send the letter for you, call your phone and then it automatically calls your Congressman and both Senators. They give you a script and boom! You're done!

IF YOU HAVEN'T YET - DO IT NOW

hear from the people who elected them, they sure hear enough from the Corporate Entities who fund many of their campaigns.

for a very important issue.

You give them your phone number and email address and they promise to contact you for other reasons.
( see tiny print down at bottom of the pages)

I could not even find who "They" are, but they are most certainly collecting contact info on a lot of anti-corporation supporters.

Being aware of how duplicitous the other side can be is a good thing, tho.
Suckering people on to fake web sites ( honey pots) is always possible.

And I have done my share of linking to dubious sites in my posts.
DU folks have been pretty helpful in educating me quickly about that!

Having once linked to a Borowitz column saying, "you can't make this stuff up." Talk about feeling stupid!

I knew it had to be safe because of the sites sharing it. But I didn't know enough. I always appreciate being corrected or reminded. May end up embarrassed but that's the breaks. At least that time before I didn't link to The Onion

Congresspeople too sympathetic to desires of wealthy who are part of the powerful forces converging. There has been loads of popular pressure against this and it keeps chugging along, even the FCC refuses to enact the regulatory powers they have even after the supreme court basically directed them to the direction they needed to go in order to regulate.

... then perhaps they're thinking that at some point they'll be able to charge you service fees for all of these phone calls being made to certain numbers if they get rid of net neutrality, and better yet talk a lot of those cell phone providers to have their phones switch towards moving to WIFI and these sorts of connections through internet connections instead of adding any cell towers, so that they can have a "new market" for bucks! So much for "common carrier" even for phone service down the road! This is the crap that we're fighting against folks!

The government of the United States is now an Oligarchy.
Ever since Citizens United, there is no chance... ZERO CHANCE.. the government will care at all about what "We The People" want.
Study after study shows that only the rich can effect policy today. Even if 99% of the general population opposes something, if the top 1% want it, it will pass.
Sorry, I know this sounds pessimistic. But it's simply a fact.

This is a Princeton study that explains it in detail

I'm not going to pretend there aren't days I think there's no point. But we have to try. We roll over and die without a fight then we deserve to be ruled.

As soon as the Patriot Act passed, we hammered the first nail into the coffin
