That's the implication in a lot of fundie radio as well.

It's always important when listening to these people to realize that they know that their audience is overwhelmingly female (because church attendance is disproportionately female in fundamentalist churches, and the degree of religiosity among attendees tends to be higher in women as well) and they're playing to their anxieties. The gays are going to steal your husband. That's what 9/10 of their gay panic is at the base. It's also the root of a great deal of their panic about reinforcing gender roles.

I was in our local liquor store the other day buying some vodka and happened to notice they were carrying "Duck Commander" wines. I was totally disgusted. As much as I like to try different wines, there are just some things I will not waste my money on and Duck Commander anything is right at the top of the list.
