From the LA Times:

The children's bodies were discovered about 4 p.m. Tuesday in a wooded area near Highway 10, east of Oak Hill, Ala., Harden said. Each child's body was decomposed and held in an individual plastic bag, according to a statement released by Smith County Sheriff Charlie Crumpton.

It was unclear how the children, ages 1 to 8, died or where the killings took place.

Earlier Tuesday, the Lexington County Sheriff's Office in South Carolina issued a release saying the children were last seen with their father near their home on Sept. 3. The children's mother, who is divorced from Jones but has joint custody, reported them missing.

Wilcox County Dist. Atty. Michael Jackson told the Associated Press that the children's father was suspected of killing them. Crumpton said Jones was also charged with driving under the influence and drug possession in Mississippi.

According to the Lexington County Sheriff's Office, the father had told neighbors he was moving out of South Carolina with his children.

37 miles north of my house.
38 miles due south of Selma, Al.

He had to have known the area, because it is difficult to get to, lots of winding 2 lane country roads, no reason any stranger would end up at that location, it is difficult enough when you know where you going.
In fact, the only way he could have driven from the dump site to Raleigh Miss is on back country roads and a lot of zig zagging.
Looks like he was avoiding the more traveled roads.

Said they found the kids buried in garbage bags. Sounded pretty grisly. I don't know what could make someone do that to five children.

The children, ages one to eight, were reported missing on Wednesday, when their mother told police she could not get in contact with her ex-husband.

Been more than one or two cases of women doing the same thing.

A proper sentence would be "Some parents"

I cannot wrap my brain around how anyone is capable of executing five young precious children.
