http://www.uppitywis.org/blogarticle/breaking-prosecutors-say-john-doe-investigation-walkers-actionsIn a brief filed today in the Seventh Circiut Court of Appeals, prosecutors directly say that the John Doe investigation is into "a candidate" that illegally coordinated to "circumvent state contribution limits and reporting requirements":
Later the brief says "five different district attorneys and the John Doe Judge found a reasonable belief that a crime (i.e., secret coordinated issue advocacy) occurred."
Specifically, the John Doe Proceedings were commenced to focus on coordinated expendituresin the form of coordinated issue advocacythat were secretly coordinated between a candidate, the candidates campaign committee and the candidates agents and various outside groups, including 501(c)(4) organizations, in order to circumvent state contribution limits and reporting requirements.
Later the brief says "five different district attorneys and the John Doe Judge found a reasonable belief that a crime (i.e., secret coordinated issue advocacy) occurred."
I think Scotty would look smashing in an orange jumpsuit.

Oral arguments begin at the US 7th District Circuit Court of Appeals (in Chicago) today. I'd love to be there !
When Wanker gets indicted I for one will be celebrating zealously. And when he gets convicted I'll be insane with happiness!

(53,475 posts)7. Not easy, no. I'm sure Wanker's backers think this is a partisan witch hunt and few will ....
... stay away from the polls.
It's still incumbent on Mary Burke to inspire more votes than Tom Barrett did.
