I cannot believe that tweety is having a fit about the President using the word,

homeland. Of all the things we are facing in this day and age he is pissed that the President uses homeland. Anything to make a news story and get all the people who cannot think for themselves to expand the foolishness.

Scheduled season premiere is October 5, 2014, on Showtime.

(The cast is exceptional, Claire Danes in particular.)

Maybe he's just trying to show the big bosses at NBC that he can attack the president just like Chuck Todd and they should let him be on Meet the Press with the big boys.

If you can't think of anything bigger than that to get pissed about,

you're bankrupt.

7. I agree with Matthews, the term stinks and Obama is just the second President to employ the term.

I detested it out of Bush and I wish Obama had not adopted it from W. But he did.

Though I agree with you, it doesn't need to be used outside of the proper noun.

11. I despise the word, but how else would Obama address cabinet Secretary Napolitano? . . .

Until and unless we change the cabinet level Department, there's not much chance of the President avoiding use of the word.

But then, Tweety's an idiot, so I expect faux poutrage no matter what the President does.

the moderator used the word homeland. Maybe Matthews should call a meeting of moderators then.
Personally I don't like the word but have not heard it addressed as controversial by anyone but Matthews and some comedians.
