http://www.pinknews.co.uk/2014/09/08/neil-patrick-harris-marries-partner-in-italy/Actor Neil Patrick Harris, star of "How I Met Your Mother," married his longtime partner David Burtka in a ceremony in Italy. That country does not recognize LGBT marriage, so the couple will have to obtain a license when they return to the U.S.
Yay, though! Yay! Mazel tov!

(55,147 posts)1. Congrats to them but I have to say
I am still really pissed that many here in the U.S. have to travel to other Sates to get married and if they want it recognized, they have to stay there.

The Trevor Project (from Wikipedia):
The Trevor Project is an American non-profit organization founded in 1998 and the leading national organization focused on suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth. Through a toll-free telephone number, it operates "The Trevor Lifeline", a confidential service that offers trained counselors. The project also provides guidance and vital resources to parents and educators in order to foster safe, accepting and inclusive environments for all youth, at home and at school.
