His actions are becoming harder and harder to defend on DU - especially if his mentor is Sean Hannity.
Golf is a lovely sport, what with it being spring and all. I've lost 40 lbs recently with bicycling. And I'm sure, sure the gun range beckons.

(89,269 posts)because he went after a kid who was in a public area , chased him down.
Chased him down is NOT stand your ground. GZ was in hot pursuit of of an altercation and went crazy with the need to hurt and punish, the "other" If you draw your gun you are prepared to shoot. Malaise of forethought but also pumped up on something.
He should have been drug tested for steroids, speed or coke. Driviling idiot. Weasel. No drug test equals positive drug test. What else distorts your judgement that far. He's warpped on drugs or a crazy dirtbag.

(14,093 posts)but it will have zero impact on his reputation with the right, just as defending the cop who pled guilty to assaulting Abner Louima didn't.

(9,893 posts)Some of us lived in or around NYC at the times and have some pretty bad memories. I agree with Rev. Al Sharpton on many issues, but he damaged his reputation and the reputation of a couple police officers with his statements and actions in that horrible incident.
Ouch!

(12,504 posts)is continuing to push the "GZ is a lefty" meme. I wonder how that works with the Hannity BFF reality?
