think there are enough assets in Sanford, FL to pay for the civil suits that will ensue?
I suspect he was a little irrational during his life before the shooting, and he has got to be under some incredible stress. I wonder if he lays around imagining what his life might be like in jail, even for a week or two? I wonder if he imagines a conversation - "Hey, guard, here's the title to my car. Why don't you take a long lunch? I'll just stay here and make sure Zimmerman's safe".
He feels persecuted, I am quite sure, and enough of that can lead to him lashing out at anyone close. Or in range.

was dismissed?

(15,882 posts)3. From what I read, yes, I think so. But he coud easily have access to another,
maybe in his closet, or, since he is not a felon, he could go to any gun dealer and buy one, or just get one out of the newspaper if he didn't want to wait. I can see him getting one, especially since he has a history of using a gun instead of his head.
Guns are easy to get, Even in prison - you ought to see the collection taken from the prisoners in the max security state prison in Oklahoma. They even have a makeshift but working shotgun, guy had 2 shells.

that doesn't mean it is the only weapon he owned.
Most people I know who own guns have more than one.

and take his revenge on all who call him a child killer.

If anything, he would be barred from buying firearms because he under investigation.

(27,677 posts)8. Remember, he's been described as Jekyll and Hyde
(CBS News) - An anonymous former co-worker of George Zimmerman, the man who shot and killed unarmed teen Trayvon Martin five weeks ago, told a newspaper that Zimmerman "loved being in charge ... loved the power" and could become violent.
The New York Daily News reported Friday that Zimmerman was fired in 2005 from his job as a party security guard for being too aggressive, quoting a former co-worker as saying that "usually he was just a cool guy. ... But it was like Jekyll and Hyde. When the dude snapped, he snapped."

What a joke that this guy roams free. WTF does it take to get arrested in the state of Florida these days?

(5,317 posts)9. In Sanford, maybe not. In the state of Florida, yes.
If it can be proven that state Attorney Norm Wolfinger acted inappropriately, there might be a case if Zimmerman goes off and does something stupid.
