A St. Louis County police officer who was seen pushing CNN host Don Lemon during a protest in Ferguson, Missouri earlier this week was suspended from duty after a video of himself, CNN reported on Friday.

The video, posted online this past May, shows Officer Dan Page giving a speech before members of the Christian organization the Oath Keepers. At one point, he shows the audience a picture of himself in Kenya, saying he went there to search for the country’s “undocumented president,” Barack Obama.

“I flew to Africa, right there, and I went to our undocumented president’s home,” Page says. “He was born in Kenya.”

According to CNN, authorities were concerned over remarks Page made indicating a willingness to kill................

Because it's really hard to give a promotion to a guy you fired a couple month's ago.

I was there to help staff a booth for the local Democrats. Everyone periodically looked down the row at the Oath Keepers, to make sure they weren't doing anything weird. They made my hair stand on end.

5. He's in a Union, have to follow the proper procedures before he can be terminated

I'm hoping that he doesn't have his job after due process has been followed, but you can't just fire him. This is common procedure and should be known, I don't know why people have such outrage when there are no immediate firings.

from militarized police and violation of rights only extends to white hetero males?

And these Oathkeepers would have us believe they are noble, non-partisan defenders of liberty?

This Dan Page cretin absolutely proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Oathkeepers are just another group of racist thugs justifying violence against whomever are the targets of their ignorant bigotry.
