House GOP candidate: Female senators are “undeserving bimbos in tennis shoes”

The GOP's Jim Hagedorn also derided American Indians, mocked the LGBTQ community, and insulted President Obama

IAN BLAIR

A Republican congressional candidate from Minnesota is in hot water after it was revealed on Friday that he has published a string of offensive blog posts online, including one that identified certain female Senators as “”undeserving bimbos in tennis shoes.”

On a blog entitled “Mr. Conservative,” the candidate, Jim Hagedorn, also derided American Indians, mocked the LGBTQ community, insulted President Obama, and wrote of his general disdain for female Supreme Court justices, according to the Minnesota politics blog Bluestem Prairie.

Last Tuesday, Hagedorn won the GOP primary race, and will moved on to face off against Democratic incumbent, Tim Walz. The Republican nominee is the son of retired congressman Tom Hagedorn.

According to Mother Jones, many of Hagedorn’s ramblings were written during his stint as a Treasury Department official.

The ancient Roman look would give Mitch McConnell a little more class but then he needs all the help he can get.

The difference between now and the day before Obama was elected, was people who think like this usually didnt run for office and if they did they hid their hate better.

If he was half as good as the women senators he would be special. He needs to get over himself.
