Unmitigated goodness. Koala survives after getting mouth-to-mouth and heart massage


A wildlife rescuer has saved the life of a koala by giving it CPR after a dramatic rescue in which the animal was flung from a tall tree to its waiting rescuers.

“This isn’t something we’d do all of the time but it shows the dedication of volunteers to saving wildlife,” she said. “Koalas often flee up trees after being hit by cars or bitten by dogs. We do get a lot of calls about koalas, unfortunately.

It was initially thought the marsupial was Sir Chompsalot, a well-known local koala.

Many of the worlds most dangerous insects, snakes, and animals live there.

The people are amazingly cool- for the most part that is.

It's the size of the 48 states and only 20 million inhabitants.

and they were talking about how nasty Koalas really are. Something like 80% are infected with a venereal disease that renders them incontinent. So giving mouth to mouth to a Koala means grabbing hold of an infected, urine soaked animal. Yum.
