The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said it was not part of the convoy "in any way".

The ICRC had been negotiating with the Russians for the past few days. I wonder why they decided to proceed without both the Red Cross and the permission of the Ukrainian government.

Should the Ukrainian government attack the convoy of Russian trucks and personnel or just pretend that sovereign borders are not really such a big deal?

In a perverse way I think many American neo-cons could get on board with the idea that militarily strong countries (like the US) can unilaterally intervene in weaker countries by sending in planes or trucks full of uninspected material to rebels opposing the weaker country's government.

I love the conservatives' commitment to nationalism and sovereignty - except when it comes to the sovereignty of other countries. My borders and national interests must be respected. Yours? Not so much. Your army is not strong.
