Thanks for the thread. You are keeping those of us who can't follow all the news stories keep up with this very important story.

(85,998 posts). . . I think that folks there are tired but determined to keep representing.
What I think is interesting is that it appears they are moving into a direct action phase with voter registration, random acts of kindness and outreach like delivering food and other supplies to supplement and make up for the closed stores and businesses, in addition to continued and targeted demonstrations.
We can all cite so many efforts and struggles like Ferguson's which fight to keep their cause in the national and local spotlight and have either faded or faltered. That's where I think Ferguson, and St. Louis, as well, could use a boost. As media sources make up excuses to turn away; and as others interpret 100 people-plus demonstration marching until at least midnight as 'winding down,' or diminishing, it's important for those concerned with justice all around there to work to keep that demand in the public eye.
Thanks for all of your attention and dedication to this pursuit right now, and in the future.
