Lawrence O'Donnell just reported it. I'm in shock!

(53,235 posts)Move along, folks. Nothing to see here.
Plus the guy was fleeing for his life! He and the PD had to figure out his alibi, what Brown did and how to get it out to the press, pack up the dog and household goods and flee.
Lotsa stuff to do when you know you are guiltier than sin...reports? The PD can do that later.

(269,044 posts)Did they ever write reports at the other PD what was shut down for corruption?

Why isn't Wilson in jail on murder charges?

(32,863 posts)There ever is a trial. I doubt the cop is going to get a charged at all. What the hell is Holder waiting for?
Lex
(34,108 posts)for sure. And that his chain of command was helping hide it.

(32,863 posts)When the DA allows you to testilie to the grand jury you don't need an
Incident report because you can pull a story out of your ass.

Murder by Cop no incident report. Guilty as sin.

(2,638 posts)statements in that incident report and they probably decided to "scrub" it. On LO they were talking about how no report is to Wilson's advantage because now he can make up his story after hearing all the eye witnesses and results of autopsy and mold his story around that. They just created a blank incident report on the County level 2 days ago which has Michael Brown's name and that it was a homicide and the date. Everything else is blank.
So now we're supposed to believe that standard police procedure wasn't followed - but a 10 page incident report was filed for a strong armed shop lifting of a few packs of cigarillos. My question is ... what about the two incident reports referenced in the shop lifting report about the homicide?
I wonder if the people are too tired after so many days of protesting to notice this in your face cover up.

(15,429 posts)Time for Holder to indict the lot of them.
Icluding the corrupt Chief of Police and the Prosecuting Attorney.

(2,805 posts)I'm guessing from all I have read that convicting a cop on criminal charges won't happen. People still want to believe that cops are there to protect them and they do "all good and right". So a jury won't convict on criminal charges.
Civil suit, maybe, but that depends on what "limited immunity" means. The cop probably doesn't have any actual money to go against.
That leaves Holder and the FBI to investigate years of abuse by Ferguson Police Department and find evidence of a coverup and PROSECUTE that coverup or the years of abuse. I have to say I am doubtful. Perhaps they will prosecute but knowing Holder's lack of "fire in his belly" I doubt it, but even if he does and wins and demands changes to the FPD, my guess it will be business as usual in a year or two. Lots of small towns depend on their police department for revenue so Ferguson is not unique in that regard. Ferguson just relies on black people more than most small town police departments. I'd be hard pressed to believe the U.S. Justice Department would follow up on that racial bias a few years from now. I hope I am proven wrong and Holder prosecutes but that would take a sudden change of "policy" on both Holder's and Obama's part from what I have seen.

(11,001 posts)get away with not filing a report? This District Attorney is aware and is a willing participant in the coverup. All of them need to be indicted: DA, Chief of Police, Homicide Division, and so many more. These hacks are skilled in throwing a case in favor of whomever they choose. There will be no justice for Michael Brown.

(15,429 posts)Given the civil rights law and RICO, they can seek the DP on several officials and the murdering cop.

(12,310 posts)autopsy reports and the 4 or 5 eyewitnesses, all of whom say Wilson killed Brown as Brown trying to surrender. The autopsy reports are consistent with this testimony. There's no fucking way this guy shouldn't be sitting in jail under arrest right now.
Stupid lawyer. He would have been better off telling his lies even if it contradicted the other evidence. After all, the media is already trying to hypnotize the public with lies on his behalf. Demonizing the victim for hi m and everything else. Methinks he miscalculated yet again! Smart ass.

(17,064 posts)Thats why they went on TV. Investigating cops reportedly turned in a report with only Brown's name, vitals, labelled "homicide" , & left the rest blank.
Makes you wonder where the PD are sourcing their stories from.
