This ISIS thing has got me trippin... Out of nowhere - but everywhere creating mayhem - a few thousand guys - but the newest greatest threat to world and US security EVAR. And of course they're hellbent on doing the crazy shit that will force us to bomb and invade countries on the neocon wet dream list. And if you bat an eye at any of this you're "certifiable".

1. Watching this movie again is distressing.

I thought we had maybe learned a lesson about fear, panic and the bad decisions they can lead to after 9-11.

Today I see the secretary of defense dialing up the fear, Senator Inhofe saying ISIS is going to blow up a city (where have we heard that before) and even NPR trying to sell a new war. That didn't take long did it?

Hell, even on DU we had a "kill 'em all let god sort 'em out" thread the other day. I promise you, the people who would sell a new war are happy to capitalize on that kind of sentiment and they probably will.
