I'll have to go see what kind of comments the story got.

ETA:
Ah, yes. As expected, the comments are quite negative. It's the fact that this group is chanting "Black Power", you see, that makes it offensive.

Could you imagine if Open Carry Texas was walking on the street with guns chanting "white power"? All hell would break loose worse than Ferguson. Another racial double standard, it's ok for black folks but not anyone else.

Bottom line, These radical nuts are just trying to stir up racial tension. To think otherwise is naive. Black Panther Party. What would be the reaction if a group was named White something or other? These people are racist.

The New Black Panthers knew that if anything happened Eric Holder would dismiss it like he did the voter intimidation case against Minister King Samir Shabazz in Philadelphia.

(Response to another poster) There is a difference between open carrying & open carrying plus being racial (yelling black power). As racist as you are I can understand why you do not see the difference because it does not fit your racist agenda. You must be trying to get a career as a race-baiter like Al Sharpton.

etc, etc

These are all from the WFAA story at this link.

if you happened to be in one of the restaurants or gathering/protesting areas?

I'm a white woman and would feel far more threatened around the good ole white boy NRAs. This new group has a reason to protest/make a statement, and it doesn't scare me. They are not out there just to prove they can intimidate people. At least that's the way I see it. .

This is not just a gun rally, it's an anti police rally with guns. They have guts. If ANYTHING goes wrong, it's going to get messy.
