Fox News contributor Keith Ablow isnt done talking about First Lady Michelle Obamas weight. And he has some fitness pointers for his female colleagues, as well. On Thursday, the psychiatrist guest-hosted Outnumbered and took a segment to provide context on his comments from last week, wherein he said Obama could stand to drop a few pounds.
The context was to remind people of the draconian standards set by the first lady and her school lunch program such that the children are throwing their school lunches away, he said. Theyre inedible. And what I was reacting to was the hypocrisy.
Ablow went on to surmise that Obama has struggled with her own weight, based on photos hes seen of her. Asked by co-host Harris Faulkner how he knew Obama had struggled with weight, Ablow said if Obama hadnt struggled, she has chosen to be much heavier at points in her life.
Ablow then said to all four women co-hosting the show that each of them, including himself, could lose five pounds, probably.
His female co-hosts then tore into him, shouting and talking over him for basically talking out of his big ass.
Dr. Ablow, Ill tell you what the bottom line is, said Sandra Smith. Maybe in future appearances, you should think about what youre going to say before you say it. If you have nothing nice to say, dont say it at all. Jedediah Bila chimed in that weight is not the sole indicator of health. But Ablow was unmoved. Initially after he made the controversial comments last week, he doubled down, saying Obama is obviously not fit and dislikes America. http://www.mediaite.com/tv/foxs-keith-ablow-tells-female-co-hosts-they-could-stand-to-lose-five-pounds-chaos-ensues/

And they know that at best maybe two of them make the cut to the next level!!! The blonde in in the morning is a new hire and that wench Megan has some sort of blonde spell cast on EVERYONE!!!
Their best shot - short of some really bad photos coming out- is sitting on the end of the table on The 5 (cheesecake left daily for the current eye candy) or ...... Hannity. There it is. Prime time!!!

(182,819 posts)Well that's the whole point of Fox anyway. Decoration for blowhards like this clown and O'Reilly.

(41,969 posts)He makes Dr. Phil look like a genius in the field. Those of us who have actual ethics are set back terribly by people who dare to use the profession to act as though they have some kind of lock on "healthy" in areas where they know jack all.
Dr. Phil was Oprah's jury consultant when the Beef Council sued her. They met, she loved him, and started having him in her show.
You might already know that but I thought it was an interesting story.

(41,969 posts)Which is generally a pretty bad idea. I used to watch Iyanla on a horror show disguised as therapy, the name of which escapes me. Apparently she's an Oprah darling too. At least Ablow isn't.

(13,466 posts)Basically encouraging unhealthy body concepts for women. Saying thin and normal sized women need to lose weight, but of course he only needs to lose 5 lbs; when he carries more inappropriate weight than every woman he's slamming here. Translation: women are only worth the inverse of what their scales say, and MEN, not health get to decide what that is.
I despise men like this.
