If Officer Wilson was engaged in a "scuffle" with Mike Brown for, apparently, several seconds, where the hell was the officer who was driving the vehicle? Wouldn't that officer have gotten out of the driver's seat, weapon drawn, and gone around to the other side to apprehend Brown?
And "reports" and "eyewitness accounts" are coming out only now that Wilson sustained some sort of eye injury (probably from the door bouncing back into his face after he threw it open in the body of Brown)?
Turning into Zimmerman/Martin all over again...

(549 posts)Johnsons story
After telling the officer that they were almost at their destination, Johnsons house, the two continued walking. But as they did, Johnson says the officer slammed his brakes and threw his truck in reverse, nearly hitting them.
Now, in line with the officers drivers side door, they could see the officers face. They heard him say something to the effect of, whatd you say? At the same time, Johnson says the officer attempted to thrust his door open but the door slammed into Brown and bounced closed. Johnson says the officer, with his left hand, grabbed Brown by the neck.

(53,342 posts)for some reason, this whole time, I was picturing Brown and Johnson side-by-side near the curb.

(5,417 posts)Even if they were close to the curb it wasnt a busy street so it would be easy for Wilson to drive up to the curb.
