USA Soccer promotes Hope Solo's records while star stands trial for domestic violence

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/tim-morehouse/promoting-hope-solo-blows_b_5680580.html

Solo, who is accused of hitting her sister and 17-year-old nephew, has been charged on two counts of domestic-violence in the assault in Des Moines, Washington. She is currently playing with the U.S. National team while awaiting her trial in November but the public through social media isn't letting her forget and the incident is now overshadowing her historic achievements on the field.

After its recent post on Solo, the social media sphere erupted in attacks against U.S. Soccer for promoting the embattled goalie.

Her husband is Jerramy Stevens, an ex-NFL player with a long history of domestic abuse.

They married to avoid testifying. And he has prior instances, inc one where he assaulted his baby's mother with an SUV. He used to play for the Buccaneers, the team I follow, so I remember well. I dislike the label "thug", but it seems to apply in his case. Bucs fans breathed a sigh of relief when team got fed up and cut him.

She is in and out of drama/abuse of others doing and her own. should not be playing right now as a rep of our country.
