but I find it fascinating that we're, once again, all worked up and ready to waste more blood and treasure bombing and invading the middle east, when we do nothing about the brutal, senseless, racially motivated murders happening here all the time. I think someone knows how easy it is to get Americans pissing themselves over the specter of radical islam. In the process we will of course kill many more innocents than we avenge, but that never seems to matter when enraged Americans wanna get their war on.

Yes, there will be serious blowback after the execution of Foley.

I haven't seen the video, but unless it was shot at a distance of several yards, the blood spray would have ended the video when the first carotid artery got cut. If there wasn't blood spraying everywhere, then Foley was likely dead when they started sawing away. Decapitating a live person is a messy business, they exsanguinate under high pressure, drenching everything and everyone.
