That's exactly what happened last night in Ferguson. They tried to get all of the media into their areas and then started arresting everyone that wasn't media.

I watched live video as the events were happening... The police were corralling people who were trying to leave the area. The only people allowed to enter certain areas were people with legitimate media credentials. The rest were turned back and eventually trapped and likely arrested.

I saw a cop rip the press sticker off of Tim Pool from VICE and then begrudgingly allow him to pass. It was bizarre.

From last night:

- 78 people arrested
- 2 people shot
- Shots fired at police
- 6 journalists arrested

Edited to add: Everything started to go downhill magically at midnight. Funny that, since the curfew had been lifted.

6. Can a federal agency protect constitutional rights?

If one's constitutional rights are being infringed upon, what can be done at the time? Who is protecting people from the police? I don't understand why the police are allowed to act illegally every night with no repercussions. Isn't there an agency that supersedes them?

If enough of us take to the streets, post & observe livestreams, and keep passing on the Truth through blogs and word of mouth We will prevail.

There is a reason they want to end Net Neutrality.

terrorized, threatened with shooting and even shot. Government is supposed to protect us and if it doesn't, it is tyranny. The Democratic governor has been less than useless. That community needs help NOW.

This stuff needed to be nipped in the bud when they first started to appear during the Bush years.
