(13,776 posts)The kid was beyond precious (when kids these days--gosh, I sound old--are always looking at their phones or at TV or computer screens, it is such a treat to see that pure enthusiasm for creating something). The dad was such a good parent, encouraging his creativity. And the filmmaker did such a great job of arranging the flashmob, making sure there'd be staff there to help run the arcade.
I loved all those people who showed up! I mean, a homemade arcade in East LA... that was really sweet of them. It's so easy to be cynical about people, especially if we follow the news and politics closely, but most of us humans really are pretty darned nice.
