It is clear that there is a problem with the FPD, it's so clear I don't think the Feds can ignore it, but who knows it's not like they have a great record either. 1) Swishers - A couple of people went off on me earlier this week when I noted that Swisher Sweets were often used for smoking pot. Anyone who grew up in a community like this (as I did) would tell you why they were getting some Swishers at 12 pm on a sunny Saturday afternoon. They were gonna go smoke. So what? Who here didn't smoke pot from time to time when they were 18, or 22? To be upset about this is ridiculous. Recreational cannabis use is being legalized all over the country as we speak.

2) In his System - It's extremely unlikely to me that Brown was high at the time of the shooting. They had just come from the store where they got the Swishers. It was ten minutes before, and it is a 10 minute walk from Ferguson Market & Liquors to where Brown was killed. Rolling a blunt with a Swisher is not something you do while walking, and they wouldn't have had time to smoke it anyway. I don't doubt they were heading to either get some pot, or they already had some and were going to smoke. That replays about 85% of my Saturday afternoons when I was 17, 18. It's also not a big deal. Can we say that again: so fucking what? But I very much doubt he was high at the time of the shooting.
