San Jose cop was justified when he shot and killed knife wielding man, DA says

Lest you think douchebadgery is confined to Ferguson, Mo.

A San Jose police officer was legally justified when he shot and killed a knife-wielding man on Thanksgiving last year, the Santa Clara County District Attorney concluded in a report issued Monday morning.

Officer Kevin Peters was "convinced Albert Vasquez was just about to attack him with a knife and escape" when he opened fire at Vasquez on Nov. 28, a press release from the DA says.

The Tenth-Largest City(TM) has only about a 3% AA population, so Latinos (and sometimes Vietnamese) tend to be on the receiving end of police brutality hereabouts.

Or have there been witnesses that came forward and claimed Vasquez wasn't threatening Peters?

Santa Clara County is not exactly a bastion of conservatism. Police are trained to defend themselves against any suspect who threatens them with a deadly weapon - regardless of that suspects race. So, you disagree with the DA's findings. Please tell us, with specificity and a factual basis, how their report was in error.
