Then the guy tries to lock him in the store with him. He pushed him out of his way. I could't see any theft.

Are we sure this video Is from day of killing?

Friend of Michael Brown said to FBI he stole those kind of cigars but wasn't a strong armored robbary. Why admit to that If not to
strong armed robbary?

This video could have come from another time. And on day of killing Michael Brown simply shoplifted.

That would explain why It took them so long to release this.

It should get a download pdf of the robbery to you. Not one word about the shooting which is the real crime here . . .

http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2014/images/08/15/ferguson-police-report.pdf

It's pretty clear the police took down the time/date as Saturday the 9th.

Soup to nuts.

They bamboozled us brave.

ALLLLLLLLLLLLL that is in there is about a robbery.

A sentence about a related shooting of the suspect in another incident report.

We still don't have JACK shit.

Where is the fucking report on the fucking shooting?!?!?

All bullshit froma cop looking for a suspect and a report from the coppers. Nothing real in there. It's a slow fillibuster. Next they'll be releasing videos of the cops in church. Singing Amazing Grace.

I doubt the altercation was reported as a robbery to begin with. Took them six days to fabricate the "strong arm robbery" bullshit.

5. He gave the clerk a shove as he exited

It appeared to me that the clerk tried to block the door, the young man gave him a shove and then made a sort of gesture as if to say he would shove him again if he tried to block the door again ... and they left. The clerk follows them out to the sidewalk, unharmed. It's a matter of seconds.

I agree with the OP that the still images look worse than the video. This is not to condone shoplifting and shoving (this is a big guy). But this is not grounds for a "manhunt" and certainly not grounds for a shooting.

Tragic.

And the person in question attempts to block his way. The boy simply defended himself and moved the man out of the way. The person in question (shop owner? clerk?) appears to be the aggressor. The young man appears to be a victim of "shopping while black" from what the video shows.

13. There were several witnesses in addition to the clerk

The police report actually takes the viewpoint of a third party, presumably another employee of the store, who was returning from the bathroom and witnessed it. This witness appears to be a female ("...where she observed Brown tell....&quot . The case for theft turns on her testimony (and that of the clerk, obviously, but he's not mentioned in the report), as the only mention we get that Brown did not pay for the cigars is listed there ("[REDACTED (i.e., the female witness)] witnessed [REDACTED (i.e., the clerk)] tell brown that he had to pay for those cigars first..."

A later section of the report mentions a patron as well, although it's unclear whether this was the woman from the initial pages.

We have two eyewitnesses who say the cop shot Brown 6-8 times while Brown had his hands in the air and not a single report from the Ferguson PD about the real incident here.

The robbery is a separate issue.

based on the video, not the manager, store clerk or third witness. I'd feel better if we had some kind of electronic signature from when the document was actually generated, not the date printed on the report.
