Personally, I have no idea who that is. Even if it is him, pushing a clerk doesn't justify killing him, but it is crazy easy for cops to walk when charged with anything. If it is real and accurate and they show that picture in court, the cop will probably get off shitty as that may be.
(FYI for the host, I haven't seen any thread directly mention the images in thread line. If these have been posted elsewhere sorry).

(15,429 posts)It may be related to why they didn't name the victim as a suspect in a robbery on day one.

(5,739 posts)As for why no video, I don't know the first thing about these cameras. Maybe the frame rate is so low it is basically like a series of pictures?

(15,429 posts)But they've been adding capabilites to security cams so maybe.
Kurska
(5,739 posts)Well, least the images are in color.

(1,284 posts)But the police didn't know he was the suspect until AFTER he was murdered.
Should change nothing.

(27,461 posts)is that it makes it plausible that Brown might have been going for the gun.
Before this, there was nothing in Brown's history that suggested he might do such a thing, other than a prejudiced image of black people.

(5,739 posts)Either the clerk grabbed his hand and pulled it inward to stop him leaving.
Or the clerk approached the guy, got grabbed by the shirt and was raising his hands defensively toward himself.

(9,463 posts)confronting him for, Mike's reaction would not be unreasonable, especially if Mike did nothing wrong and the clerk was trying to keep him in the store.
SaltyBro
(198 posts)if the clerk wrongly accused him of stealing the cigars.
Kurska
(5,739 posts)If the clerk was just accusing him it doesn't justify grabbing the guy.
And it really isn't clear from the image who grabbed who first.
Enrique
(27,461 posts)the pictures make it look like Brown is the aggressor, but where's the rest of the video?
The police report has a witness account saying that the clerk was blocking him from leaving, after having called 911.

(5,739 posts)On edit: I think it was a different store in the same chain? This whole situation is confusing.
Highly doubt the clerk is talking to anyone about this. Remember, his store got torched like on day 1.
No idea if he owned it or if he just worked there. Was he even a clerk or a manager? Either way, I doubt he is giving any statement to anyone but cops.

(396 posts)Can we simply recognize that stealing cigars, if true, does not in any way legitimate a street over-shooting of a young man?
