Finally people are admitting productivity is the problem, and will out pace the need for people in

the work force. Even Krugman in the NYT has whined about the lack of jobs going forward.

As I have often pointed out that my solution needs to be put in place, that is to lower the age for Soc Sec to 50yrs.

This will reconfigure the work force and the way we balance business and leisure time, while providing a safety net.

How will we pay for this? The same way we paid for 13 yrs of war, when there is a need money appears.....

I agree that we out to look at lowering the retirement age - we also out to look at increased time off and shorter work weeks.
