He allegedly stole a box of cigars. Probably larceny not robbery. It's not even clear from the report that he walked out of the store with the cigars.

The Oligarchs steal billions and walk the planet free and easy. Michael Brown is dead for a box of cigars. Is that the justification? Come on, now.

The time between the alleged strong arm robbery and the shooting was pretty short. If Brown took several boxes of cigars, what happened to them? There was no evidence at the site of the shooting of any boxes of cigars. If Brown has stolen boxes of cigars, the presence on scene of said cigar boxes would have bolstered the police chief's story. But there are not any cigar boxes.

As story invention occurs, this one is pretty weak.

I asked them why no one is asking about the missing cigar boxes and was told they did not know if they had researched that angle. I pointed that it was a pretty important fact and a red herring put out by the Ferguson police department.

This info about the robbery should have come out on the DAY OF THE SHOOTING.

Nothing in the video of the body in the street (and I've seen it -- since then the body has been fuzzed out) indicated Brown had anything on him; the police did not mention the store robbery that had just occurred that could have led the cop to stop Brown and his friend, the cops never indicated he had anything on him, and every witness has said Brown was unarmed and was backing away from the officer. If the officer knew Brown was a suspect in this robbery, why didn't he have a backup with him?

Nothing has been said about Brown's companion, either. So where is the box of Swisher Sweets?

All this bullshit is just distraction from the main issue and hard questions, which is just what the Ferguson PD wants. ANYTHING to deflect this story away from their officer's actions. And so far they're succeeding.

A person who is about to start college is calmly walking down the street with a friend gets killed for being a suspect. Well I got to ask why someone who works hard enough to get into college would risk that by committing a robbery ...especially over a cigar. Come on now ...WTF ...does that make any sense? If you think its hard to get into college being white ...use your imagination or get some new friends.
