He telephoned that do-nothing governor after the events of Wednesday night, and all of a sudden, shit happens: the managing force is changed, the policeman's name is released. All it takes is a call from the President saying I'm going to federalize your National Guard within 24 hours unless you do something.

But unless he brags about it before doing it, it doesn't exist I guess. And I just saw a thread wherein all presidential vacations are the same and we aren't supposed to whine about them, as if "clearing brush" for ten minutes in front of cameras during a month-long holiday is the same as what happened to the current president who dared take a week off and looks terrible, as if he hasn't slept in a few days and lost a few pounds.
