None of these are by me, of course, I was stuck at work, if a vigil and/or protests are going to go on in Ferguson or in Downtown St. Louis on Saturday, I'll try to make it.

(19,565 posts)Looks like Bob McCulloch was wrong. Nixon's pulling the county police and putting Capt. Ron Johnson in charge did not put "a lot of people in danger" after all.

(30,439 posts)...no way the prosecutor will charge the officer for shooting the unarmed teenager to death. The prosecutor appears to be a big time tea bagger.

(14,040 posts)He said most cases tried at a local level result in an acquittal for cops which is why he urged the parents to try and make it a federal case (civil rights violation).
He said because most local prosecuting attorneys rely on local police, it's difficult to get a conviction.
So we'll see what happens here.
